Building a healthier community together.
The organisation's main is to promote sports, particularly boxing, among people from run-down neighborhoods in the Huddinge County and hopefully, around Stockholm too.
Boxing is a growing sports amongst younger people aged between 14-25 in the underprivileged neighborhoods of Stockholm. Thus accessibility might be an issue for many of them, Vårby Boxing association aims to provide training both physically and Digitally.
I have initially designed the first version of the website and currently working on the updated version, scheduled to be live in January 2023 latest.

Company Goals
Vårby Boxning association is a boxing Institution which provides boxing training for individuals of every age groups and every category, from novice to competitor.
Challenge
To be able to create clean UI/web designs featuring the organisation's training classes and information regarding the forthcoming competitions, alongside representing the company's brand identity.
Solution
Provide different iterations, from typography to components and then Mockups, and finally, discussing with the client before embarking into the final designs. Using CMS such as webflow to enable the team to easily maintain the website.

Typography and components
The fonts selected have distinct moods relative to the organisation's image — Bold, Strong, courageous and imposing. Both Sen and Mandalore match the purpose and goal of Vårby Boxing identity. I have opted for vibrant colors which will enable the website to be visually accessible for users.

Wireframes
Wireframe stage is where I then brainstormed different iterations of the websites. It was 7 different versions at the beginning to give the company a lot more ideas to choose from as well as giving space for improvement as the company goes forward.

High fidelity
The final stage of the design process was to implement all the visual ideas into the final output. Many more versions are still in being worked on. Therefore there will be more iterations in the future as the website will continue to grow and so will the content.

Webflow development
Lastly , the client needed a method to maintain the website are at affordable cost. The purpose of this is also to ensure that work process continues in case I am unable to continue as it is easier to manage the content of the website and deployment is much faster using a CMS like webflow.
Here is a snippet of the first version of the website which I have designed/developed using Webflow and which is currently the one available. The website will be updated soon.

Current update in Progress
The organisation are currently looking to build their platform into a full online boxing class with tutors to assist young boxing enthusiast. While these changes are currently ongoing, we are also working on the different version of the website update.
